National Night Out Against Crime
Back by popular demand is the 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 - 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆! The date is set for Thursday, October 12th. The details are currently being planned and finalized, but expect it to be bigger and better than last year (which was a HUGE hit!)
We are again planning to incorporate our local neighborhoods, businesses and organizations by offering them an opportunity to participate in 🎃Trick Or Treat Alley🎃You may set up a table and give out candy 🍬 🍭 to the kids. Due to the high demand last year, this year we will expand and have 50 spots available. We will do a better job with spreading out the participants along the walking path, instead of cramming everyone into Scogin Station. To register your neighborhood, business or organization, please visit: Due to this being a couple days before an election, we respectfully ask that this not be turned into a political campaign event.
Although we are encouraging all of our local Slidell neighborhoods to participate in the community party, we will still accommodate the neighborhoods who wish to still have a neighborhood party on the traditional night of Tuesday, October 3rd. So far, we have again partnered with 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗢𝗿𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺, who will be bringing their helicopter 🚁 “Abby” and the 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲, who will also be bringing their helicopter 🚁 to the party! ✌️ helicopters 😱. In addition to ALL OF THIS, the 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 will again be 👨🍳 cooking for all of YOU! And boy…can they cook! We will also have pizza 🍕 from 𝗢𝗹𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆.
